4. Connect with well-known organisations to minimise the risk. Your local digital rights organisation, journalists, and civil society organisations can be helpful to keep you safe.
5. Follow the news to get an update on the latest situations in the country and avoid conflict areas.
6. Avoid going to protests or demonstrations if possible.
7. Be familiar with the documentation requirements for travelling within the country.
8. Always have a contingency plan for leaving the conflict area or the country.
